Birthday Suprises

So my birthday was Wednesday, March 16. To celebrate, a bunch of us went to dinner and drinks on the Country Club Plaza. Had a fabulous time! Got some fun presents and awesome b-day cards, had a yummy meal, the friendly bartender made me a green beer even though it wasn't quite St. Patrick's day yet, and a friend I hadn't seen in a year met up with us. We go to the car I've only had for 8 months...SURPRISE...window bashed in, window frame bent, b-day presents and cards gone. :( What a big fat bummer!

Thursday, March 17: St. Patrick's Day. Was supposed to go to friend's house for an Irish breakfast, but had to miss out to take car into shop to get window fixed. To replace window: $180. To replace bent frame: $401. Go to breakfast at Denny's, go to St. Patrick's Day Parade, go to O'Dowd's (on the plaza. Yikes!) to meet freinds at 12:00, drink until 4:00...Good Times! Go home for quick bite and nap, two volleyball games starting at 6:15 (moving kinda slow but somewhat functioning). Go home, shower, crash by 8:30.

Friday, March 18: Leave for work in the morning, see a blue envelope on my purse. I open it...SURPRISE...$200 "Save Connie's Birthday" fund from my awesome friends and brother.
